Technology

How does 3D Concrete Printing (3DCP) work? The realization of 3D printed objects starts from a 3D digital file of the desired shape which is made up of “slices” or layers which guide the printer. The digital model is “sliced” into layers and sent to the machine. Following the layer path, the printer will recreate the digital model by laying down sequential layers of mortar, eventually giving birth to the 3DCP product. This technology makes it possible to work completely digitally in the built environment without human intervention!
